Cannes Young Lions 2016-2020

This is section is just me being nostalgic about my 20s, so feel free to skip.

From 25 to 30, I’ve had 5 tries at the Cannes Young Lions Film award with 4 different creative partners.

Rules were simple: You’ve got 24h to shoot an ad on your phone. Best one goes to Cannes.

I got 2 x Wins, 1 x Shortlist, 1 x Honourable Mention + an entry actually going made.

This has been so fun and in many ways career-changing.

2016: Won FILM and went to Cannes

2017: Got Shortlisted in FILM. Didn’t go to Cannes BUT it was the only entry that was chosen by the charity to go live

2018: Won FILM and went to Cannes again

2020: Came in third and got a highly commended
